Mercedes-Benz is one of the well-known German auto manufacturers in the world while AMG is a famous tuner among Mercedes owners other than Brabus. Together, they have come up with amazing cars after Daimler-Benz AG and AMG signed a contract of cooperation in 1993.
All AMG engines are hand built. They are using a “one man, one engine” philosophy and currently there are about 50 AMG engine builders. But the treatment is only for “real” AMG models like the Mercedes A45 and not for A250 AMG.
On January 1999, the company shares were bought about 51 percent by the DaimlerChrysler and were renamed to Mercedes-AMG GmbH.
The following video shows the best of Mercedes-AMG sounds in 2016 recorded by StateSideSuperCars. But there are Brabus cars too, and you can compare the sounds made between both tuners.
